Coronavirus state tracker: California hospitalizations are lowest since June; 5,966 new cases and 26 new deaths as of Aug. 16

For the 11th straight day, hospitalizations across California were down. According to state health agencies, there were 18 fewer hospitalizations as of Sunday, Aug. 16.
